Give Me That Baby Smell

Disclosure: JOHNSON’S ® sponsored this post, meaning I received compensation and/or product in exchange for my honest review.

Baby smell. That’s all I have to say. You know it—that smell that makes you want to hold your baby close up so you can take a huge inhale of that wonderful, calming, innocent, universal, nostalgic scent. Most of that yumminess is thanks to JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® products.  Hold on while I give Stella and Mia a sniff. Ahhhh, love it. I know I’m going to miss it one day—but not anytime soon if I can help it.

These products go further than inducing an olfactory joy. They support your baby’s need at every stage and age. In fact, from its very beginning, JOHNSON’S® has been committed to improving the lives of parents and babies. Their scientists are parents themselves, and they develop products with the same care and rigour that they want for their own babies and children.

Johnson's Bedtime Routine
Our nightly routine with Johnson’s Bedtime

It is now more important than ever for babies to have routines, and JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® products fit right into ours. JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® products help the girls get a restful night’s sleep starting with bath time. Every night at the same time, we have bath time, massage, and a book reading. I found that this routine has helped the girls with sleep, and I am blessed to now have babies that sleep through the night. The 3-Step BEDTIME® Routine was developed to help baby sleep better in just seven days: a warm bath, followed by a gentle massage and quiet time is clinically proven to help babies fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

A warm bath helps the girls know it’s time to sleep. A massage as part of a bedtime routine can help relax your baby before sleep. Quiet time activities such as reading, singing or listening to music allows your baby to unwind. And finally, the smell that I’ve been talking about – JOHNSON’S® NATURALCALM® aromas help soothe and relax the girls before bed.

Not to mention that their products are free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or dyes, and are made with 96% naturally-derived ingredients.  They have been around for 125 years, and their products are designed to be close to baby’s natural skin pH and hair pH as it helps to avoid disrupting the skin barrier. Who knew that killer instinct to protect our babies would include protecting their skin barrier because it hasn’t fully developed its ability to protect on its own?

Overall, I love using JOHNSON’S products, and the girls seem to love it too. So tell me, how much do you love/miss that baby smell?
