We love to Travel!! Our family trip to Orlando was truly amazing, and we have Air Transat to thank for making it possible. As the key sponsor of our trip, Air Transat made it easy for us to get to Orlando with their year-round direct flights from Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, and Moncton. With up to 4 flights per week from Toronto, we were able to find a schedule that worked for us.
The in-flight experience with Air Transat was incomparable. We flew Club Class and it was a luxurious experience. The perks included spacious, reclining seats with six-way headrest and footrest, various amenities to ensure our comfort on board, individual touch screens with USB and power outlet, priority seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and much more! We were able to sit back and relax in an exclusive cabin with spacious and comfortable seats, and we also got to enjoy two pieces of checked baggage and priority services at the airport. The menu designed exclusively for Club Class passengers was sensational.
We were also excited to learn that Air Transat is launching a new promotional campaign called “Come Back Changed” on January 10th. The campaign is inspired by the belief that travel has a transformative power and aims to demonstrate the importance of travel and its ability to transform not only our way of being by expanding our horizons, but also our state of mind. This humorous advertising campaign supports their new signature: “Travel Moves Us.” As part of this campaign, Air Transat invites Canadian travellers to recharge their batteries with great deals on flights and packages in the tropics, including flights to Florida starting at $150.
Our accommodation for the trip was the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. This hotel is an Official Walt Disney World hotel, which meant that we were able to enjoy special perks such as transportation to all Disney Theme Parks and Disney Springs. In addition, guests may also take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry which granted them access to the parks 30-minutes prior to park opening. They can do this by obtaining a voucher open check-in or linking their resort reservation number to their My Disney Experience account.
The Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek was also a great choice for families with kids. The hotel features a 3-acre lazy river, water slide, 24-hour arcade, multiple dining outlets, and the Waldorf Astoria Kids Club available at our adjacent sister property Waldorf Astoria Orlando (connected by a convention center, short five-minute walk). The hotel was also recently renovated and converted to the Signia by Hilton brand, which features a portfolio of premier hotels in highly sought-after urban and resort destinations.
Dining was also a highlight of our stay. We were able to enjoy the breakfast buffet at Harvest Bistro for the first two mornings of our stay, and we received vouchers for breakfast on the last day of our stay. We also checked out the hotel’s signature restaurants, La Luce and Zeta Asia, which are among the top 15 ranked restaurants in Orlando on TripAdvisor.
Another perk of our stay was the poolside cabana. We also requested for a late check-out (2PM) and were able to extend it to 4PM, which was a great way to end our trip. Overall, our family trip to Orlando with Air Transat was truly amazing and we can’t wait to plan our next trip with them.
